    • Thanks so much Dianne. The first is what the Japanese would call a Senryu (and you may already know that) so I felt like a ought to write a seasonal haiku as well. :)


  1. Same as Dianne. The first one burst me into laughter. I’d just watched my seven-year-old granddaughter carefully tape close the wrapper on the remains of a Hershey bar she’d found in her shoes (Argentinian Christmas custom) this morning for Three Kings Day to leave a “keep-your-freakin’-hands-off-my-candy” message to her four-year-old sister.
