Another haiku about the winter’s night sky. Up at half past midnight, the moon on the new fallen snow shone with an almost sunlit brilliance. Such nights in the dead of winter are more like a pale daylight. One can walk, ski, or snowshoe with ease. After January—overcast days and nights with only one or two exceptions—February feels sunny and refreshing. My favorite little month.
