iusb_760x100.18296753_105lM-88_88x85y wife has just created her own Etsy site called KitchenTablePrinter. As with any grand business venture, she’s excited and nervous. One of her hobbies or pastimes is collecting eggs from our chickens. I built her a chicken house a while back and it’s mostly housed Buff Orpingtons.

I remember, as a child, being afraid of chickens. Despite their reputations, there is something fierce and more than a little ruthless about these birds. They go back a long way.

  1. Congrats on the new venture.

    Buff Orpington roosters like to hit bare calves with flying kicks. A spray of scratch grain to the face can deter them from following-up, however.
